Comel has a selection of 20 bending machines (Amada, Amada Schiavi, Codatto, Mecos, Trumpf) in various sizes (1 m to 4 m), capable of covering any three-dimensional geometry, including the trickiest items requested by the most demanding customers. Machines are constantly updated and upgraded, so that top levels of quality can be assured over time. This is also made possible by an extensive tooling inventory that provides the company with considerable flexibility, on large and small production batches alike. The bending machines have a CNC facility which, combined with 12 motion axes, enables the production of items with particularly complex bend profiles, but is also able to minimize the number of set-up operations, reducing cycle times.
