Shared design is a distinctive strength. Comel’s expertise merges with customer requirements to improve product functionality, manufacturability and performance. Every project is developed to guarantee industrial efficiency, starting from prototyping.

3D CAD/CAM technologies for maximum precision

Using the latest 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software, Comel is able to develop and manage the entire lifecycle of the component. The 3D models of the customer are acquired in the main formats and immediately integrated into the production flow, reducing lead times and minimising the risk of errors.

Integrated process, lean management

The entire process is managed through a software platform integrating ERP, production and quality control. Internal Technical Reviews enable potential issues to be anticipated and ensure a smooth and reliable production flow, in line with lean manufacturing principles.

Rapid prototyping and functional testing

Comel also offers a rapid functional prototyping service, with management of the entire cycle: preliminary samples, FAI (First Article Inspection), pilot batches and series start-up, including certified testing for corrosion resistance.
