Whistleblowing at Comel, a secure system for reporting misconduct
Comel provides a secure and confidential channel for reporting violations of Model 231 and the Code of Ethics, whose scope is limited to safety and environmental regulations, in compliance with Legislative Decree 24/2023.
Who can report
Employees, collaborators, suppliers, consultants, partners, former employees and candidates.
What to report
Model 231 offences, violations of the Code of Ethics, risks relating to safety and the environment.
Reports concerning exclusively personal matters – such as individual employment disputes – are excluded from the scope of the whistleblowing procedures and must be submitted through other channels.

Reports concerning exclusively personal matters – such as individual employment disputes – are excluded from the scope of the whistleblowing procedures and must be submitted through other channels. Likewise, any related misconduct falling outside the scope of Model 231 is not covered by this procedure.
Why report
Reporting a violation is an act of responsibility and entails the following safeguards:
No form of retaliation, discrimination, or penalization is permitted against the reporting person
The reporting person’s identity will remain confidential and will not be disclosed without their consent, except where required by law
Anonymous reports will also be considered and investigated, provided they contain sufficient detail
