At Comel, sustainability is not a parallel initiative, but an integral part of our industrial strategy that goes beyond environmental and ecological issues, extending into economic and social areas, right through to the concept of corporate sustainability.

With a forward-looking vision, we have made targeted investments across the entire supply chain, starting with clean energy production through increased renewable energy use, the implementation of a certified environmental management system and the promotion of sustainable mobility.

At our plant, we have installed a 30 megawatt photovoltaic system with more than 8,000 solar panels, capable of generating energy to power a significant part of the company’s activities. A concrete achievement corresponding to an annual saving of more than 5,200,000 kg of CO2.

The powder coating department also reflects our commitment to sustainability: thanks to the proprietary PaintQP (Painting Quality Process) system, we guarantee maximum durability, zero solvents and reduced environmental impact, with high performance even in extreme conditions.

The process is constantly monitored through in-house control laboratories and optimised to minimise waste, with low-energy consumption cycles and maximum flow efficiency.
